Cubicle curtain track is the ceiling-mounted rail that a privacy curtain rides on — the system that turns an open patient bay into a private space in one pull. Cubicle track types we supply
Surface-mounted track. Extruded aluminum track that screws directly to a hard ceiling. It’s the simplest, most common install — low profile (typical extrusions run about 1-3/8″ wide by 3/4″ deep, with narrowline profiles under 1″ wide where sightlines matter), in anodized or white baked-enamel finishes that disappear against a painted ceiling.
Suspended track. Where the ceiling is high or the curtain needs to hang at a set height — typically 7′3″ above the floor — the track hangs from aluminum drop tubes anchored to the structure or the T-bar grid. This is the standard approach in patient rooms with acoustical tile ceilings.
Bendable track. Hand-formable aluminum track that curves to virtually any radius on site, so the curtain can wrap a bed bay or exam chair without field-welding or ordering factory-curved sections. Radius and offset bends (typically 30°–45°) let one continuous run follow the room instead of forcing square corners.
Quiet-glide track. Track-and-carrier systems engineered to pull silently — the difference matters in recovery rooms, birthing centers, NICUs, and critical care areas, where a rattling curtain at 3 a.m. is a real patient-experience complaint.
Specialty systems. Quick-release and hookless designs let housekeeping staff take a curtain down for laundering in under a minute, without a ladder. Snap-panel systems separate the fabric lower panel from the mesh top, so only the fabric goes to the wash. Breakaway carriers that release under load (around 22 lbs of pressure) are available for behavioral health settings, and I.V. track systems run alongside the curtain track for pendant-mounted I.V. carriers.

Sleep-sensitive units — recovery, L&D, critical care: specify a quiet-glide system up front, because swapping carriers later never fully fixes a noisy track. Behavioral health: breakaway carriers are the safety requirement to raise with your architect early.

Installation
