Grab bars: safety and compliance
Grab bars must be strong enough to hold an adult’s weight and installed into solid backing. For accessible toilet compartments, side-wall and rear-wall bars are required by accessibility standards; shower and tub areas use additional configurations. Satin stainless steel with a textured grip gives a secure hold even when wet.

- Make sure the wall has blocking or a reinforced mounting.
