Corridor (Emperor) Lockers

Design: Emperor lockers feature clean lines, a wide variety of sizes, tiers, and designer colors for project flexibility. They are ideal for hallways and general storage needs.
Door Construction: Utilizes a full 1” (25mm) double pan welded box design, reinforced with a cell honeycomb core for rigidity and impact resistance, providing quiet operation.
Hinges: Features a full-length continuous “piano” hinge for durability and proper door adjustment, outperforming standard knuckle hinges.
Latching System: Single-point latching with no moving parts (friction catch standard); minimal maintenance as there are no slide bars, springs, or latch hooks.
Ventilation: Louvers in the frame and perforations in shelves ensure constant, unobstructed airflow.
Installation: 2.5” (64mm) deep frame allows easier installation; tops, shelves, and bottoms are interchangeable; use of rivets or nuts and screws, with rivets providing extra strength and tamper-resistance.
Finish: Durable powder coating is standard on all lockers for a hard, even, and run-free finish. Doors and frames may be two-toned at no extra charge.
Customization: Options exist for the number of stacks, banks, and tiers, with locking types including padlocks or combination locks.

Athletic (Gladiator) Lockers

Design: Built for sporting environments demanding strength, airflow, and security.
Door Construction: Full 1” (25mm) thick double pan box (16-gauge outer/18-gauge inner) for superior rigidity.
Ventilation: Doors and sides have large oval perforations (13mm x 25mm) for maximum airflow and visual access.
Noise Reduction: Honeycomb “silence zone” core in doors ensures whisper-quiet operation.
Latch System: Single-point, friction catch latching with no moving parts; maintenance-free.
Hinges: Heavy-duty 16-gauge continuous piano hinge standard across all Gladiator models.
Finish: Powder coated for even, thick, and durable coverage; available in a broad range of colors.
Specialty Options: Open front lockers can be customized with boot compartments, valuables spaces, benches, and more; suitable for demanding professional sporting venues.
Fire Resistance: Entirely fireproof and non-toxic under heat/flame conditions.

Section 1: Project Details and Locker Basics

This first section covers the overall scope and the core product you need.

Form Field

What We Need

Why It Matters

Project Name

A simple name for your job (e.g., “Park Slope High Gym,” “Midtown Office Storage”).

Helps us track your project and keeps our communication clear.

Locker Type

Choose Standard (solid doors), See-through (perforated doors for ventilation/security), or Open Access (no doors, like the Gladiator line).

This defines the security, ventilation, and look of your units.

Bench Quantity & Length

If your project includes changing areas, tell us how many benches you need and the length for each (e.g., 5 benches, 6 feet long).

Bench systems are a key accessory for gyms and changing rooms.

Assembly

Choose Unassembled (Knocked Down/RTA) or Assembled (factory pre-assembled).

Assembled units save time on-site but cost more to ship. Unassembled (RTA) is cost-effective for large projects.

Section 2: Measurements, Quantity, and Configuration

This is the most critical section for accurate pricing and layout.

Measurements and Tiers

  • Width, Depth, and Height: Select the measurements that work for your space. Standard options are 12″ or 15″ wide, 12″ to 24″ deep, and 60″ or 72″ high.
  • Tiers: Choose how many doors are stacked vertically in one column (1 Tier, 2 Tiers, etc.).
    • 1 Tier: Best for coats, uniforms, and full-length items (athletic, industrial use).
    • Multi-Tier (2, 3, 4, 5, 6): Great for high-density storage of smaller items like books, bags, or day-use belongings (schools, offices).

Quantity and Shelves

  • Number of Standard Lockers: The total number of locker columns (or units) you need.
  • Number of ADA Shelves: Specify the quantity of lockers that need to be ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant. These often require specific placement and lock heights.

Tops and Hooks

  • Top: Select a Flat Top or a Sloping Top (recommended to prevent trash and clutter from collecting on top).
  • Hook Type: For full-height (1-Tier) units, specify the type of internal hook you need. The default is usually a coat rod and a hook, but single or double hooks are options for heavy-duty use.

Section 3: Color, Lock, and Mounting Preferences

These details define the appearance, security, and installation method.

Form Field

What We Need

Why It Matters

Select Door Colors

Pick the color code for the doors (e.g., 500 White, ST0 Black). You can often mix and match.

Defines the look and feel of the space.

Select Frame & Trim Color

Pick the color code for the locker frame and trim pieces.

This allows for a cool two-tone effect (like the Emperor line) at no extra charge.

Lock Preparation

This tells us how the door needs to be prepared for the locking device. Options include Padlock, Built-in Combination, Built-in Key, or Built-in Digital Prep (for smart/electronic locking systems).

Crucial for security and integration with your facility’s access system.

Number Plates

Choose Plastic or Aluminum.

Number plates are necessary for assigning and identifying lockers.

Do you have slope tops?

Check Yes or No. Sloping tops improve hygiene and aesthetics.

Do you have bases?

Check Yes or No, then select Box Base or Z Base.

Bases protect the bottom of the locker from cleaning fluids and floor damage. Z bases are great for durability.

Section 4: Layout and Location Details

This section helps us visualize the actual installation. A layout drawing or sketch is always recommended if possible, but these questions help us create one for you.

  • Banks Preference: Lockers are installed in groups called “banks.” Do you prefer banks of 1, 2, or 3 lockers wide? This is helpful for planning, as wider banks are more efficient to install.
  • Between Two Walls, Corner, Corners: Count how many sets of lockers will be installed between two existing walls (recessed), or how many will be installed in a corner or multiple corners.
  • Exposed Sides: How many exposed sides (ends of a locker run) will you have in total? For example, a single row of lockers that is not against a wall will have two exposed sides (a left end and a right end). You’ll need an Extra Side Trim for each exposed side.
  • Back to Back: How many locker units are installed back to back (like an island in the middle of a room)?
  • Need Locker by: Your required delivery date.
  • Ship to Zip code: The location where the materials will be delivered. This is essential for calculating shipping costs.
