Manufacturer installation instructions explain how each partition style is assembled: layout of pilasters and panels, anchoring, header-rail brackets, hardware and final adjustment. Always use the instructions that match the brand, material and mounting style (floor-mounted, overhead-braced, ceiling-hung or floor-to-ceiling), because the anchoring and bracing differ.
Installation checklist
- Confirm the layout against the architect’s plan, including door swings and ADA clearances.
- Check the floor and ceiling for level, blocking and anchoring conditions before delivery.
- Verify that all parts and hardware are on site and sorted by compartment.
- Adjust doors for a consistent gap and proper latching once panels are plumb.
