Powder-coated all-welded metal lockers

All-welded steel lockers are fabricated as a single rigid unit instead of being bolted together on site. The welded frame is stronger and quieter in daily use, and a baked-on powder-coat finish resists chipping, scratching and corrosion far better than ordinary paint. That combination makes them the standard choice for schools, gyms and locker rooms, municipal buildings, factories and warehouses where lockers see constant, rough use.

Typical configurations

  • Single-tier through six-tier lockers, in a range of widths and depths
  • Ventilated doors for gym and sports use, and solid doors for offices and break rooms
  • Recessed or built-in locking options, including padlock-ready latches and key or combination locks
  • Sloped tops, base options and end panels to finish a bank of lockers neatly

Where they are used

Because the steel and finish are so durable, powder-coated lockers are specified for K-12 and university athletics, fitness centers, public pools, transit and public-works facilities, hospitals and staff changing rooms. If you are comparing materials, see metal lockers and our other options in phenolic, plastic and wood & laminate, or review the locker manufacturers we distribute.

We supply and can arrange installation across New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Limited powder-coated steel and stainless steel partition stock is available for pickup at our Long Island City warehouse; all other products are subject to manufacturer lead time.

Care and maintenance

Powder-coated steel needs little upkeep: wipe with a mild detergent and water, avoid abrasive pads, and touch up any deep scratch promptly so moisture cannot reach bare steel. Keep ventilated doors clear of debris, and check hinges and latches on a regular schedule in high-use facilities.
