Where glass boards and glass wall cladding work best

Glass writing surfaces and glass wall cladding suit spaces where the wall itself has to do more than hold paint: conference rooms, classrooms and training centers, collaboration areas, lobbies, medical offices and corporate break rooms. Because the surface is non-porous, it does not stain or ghost like many dry-erase boards, and it wipes clean with ordinary glass cleaner, which is why it is popular in healthcare, education and office interiors.

Glass boards versus standard markerboards

  • Look: frameless glass gives a clean, contemporary finish and is available in a range of colors, so a writing wall can double as a design feature.
  • Durability: tempered glass resists scratches and does not absorb marker ink.
  • Flexibility: glass wall cladding can cover a whole wall, a column or a reception back-wall, not just a board-sized panel.

If you need a traditional solution instead, see our visual display boards (porcelain markerboards, tackboards, chalkboards and sliding boards) or the visual display board manufacturers we distribute.
